Who is a typical SellOutSource client?
Generally, we work with sports teams and organizations. Professional, minor leagues, amateur, college athletics....anyone committed to selling more tickets and generating new revenue.
What exactly do you do?
We conduct sales outreach campaigns for our clients. Primarily, teams hire us to help with new business development and generating new ticket sales leads. We engage with local business leaders, discuss the team's options, qualify the leads, and set up appointments for the team's reps. In some cases, we also close new sales.
What outreach methods do you use?
We start with phone calls, which have been proven to be the best way to reach people, establish trust, and build relationships. We also use e-mail, LinkedIn, direct mail, text, videos, and other methods to connect with prospects.
Who do you call on behalf of your clients?
Each client and market is different. We review the market and the team's situation, then together determine who the best prospects are —also known as the Ideal Prospect Profile. Our focus is on new business leads, so we avoid existing team partners. Most of the prospects are businesses, but also schools, youth organizations, churches, clubs/associations, and, in some cases, individual buyers.
How many prospects are in a typical campaign?
Our campaigns are generally 6 months, and we target over 1,200 new leads. We identify the ideal prospects and make multiple attempts using various methods throughout the campaign.
What style of sales tactics do you use?
We are professional, courteous, and enthusiastic with our outreach. We focus on 'Solution-Based Sales', and having meaningful conversations about how groups, hospitality, and ticket packages can help their business or organization. I do not believe in high-pressure sales tactics.
What level of experience do your sales reps have?
Most of our sales reps are highly skilled and experienced (some with 30+ years). All are professionals and represent our clients and their brands with respect. We are remote so we are able to recuit nationally for the best sales reps.
What do you need from the team?
We’re easy and efficient partners. We build our own databases and prospect lists, and conduct our own contact intelligence research. We use our own: sales reps, training, phones, CRM, computers, email and text software, LinkedIn, etc. The only things we need from the team are an email address and some basic sales materials/flyers.
How does your pricing work?
Our pricing is determined by the length of the campaign, the number of targets, and which outreach methods we use. We have a monthly fee plus a bonus based on the number of leads and appointments we generate. Generally, we are far less than the cost of a new sales rep.
